SPRINT CARS ARE BACK TO THRILL THE FANS AT CHARLOTTE COUNTY MOTORSPORTS PARK

This Saturday night the Checkered Flag Sprint Cars are back to thrill the fans for thirty laps of hold on to your seat racing. The sprints last trip saw Mark Gimmler take the checkers with David Slawiak second and Keith Butler third. The night will also highlight one of the backbone classes, the Pro 4 class will run fifty laps with the first time ever qualifying for the pro's. The qualifying times can now be seen by all on the new Pepsi scoreboard. Also on tap for the night will be the sportsman for 35 laps, with a few new names signed up to give a try at winning. After a week off the ever popular Road Warriors will be there to try to see who can beat the orange cars of the "venice Bad Boys". Fab 4 will be running to see who will move up next, Rose Macho and Mark Davis with only one more win till they move into the pro's, who will be the one to join Logan Leonard who moved up last week. To finish off the night will be the Thunder Trucks. Who will be the ones to make it into the new winners circle. There will be no practice Friday night due to Go Kart Racing under the lights which starts at 5:00pm. Next week May 24th ,if you have a mini stock they will be running a 25 lap feature with the hopes that enough will make it a regular class.
Calling all Karters
Just to remind all of you this Friday nite 5-16-08 "under the lights" Kart racing is back at Charlotte county Motorsports park.Gates open at 5:00 with practice to start around 6:00 and heat races to start around 7:30. Hope all can attend. Those who would like to come out and support the kart racers or just watch, you can from the grandstands for free, to come back to the pits were all the action is and meet the drivers is only ten dollars.The "Pit Stop" concession will be open for food and drinks.
