LATE MODELS RETURN TO CCMP
|
This week June 28th the Late Models will return to racing at Charlotte County Motorsports Park and hopefully mother nature will not win.
The last time the Late Models were here May 31st the weather interfered with the car count and won out as the races for that night were canceled.
This week the car count has already doubled with drivers like Mike Franklin, Cory Collun, Blake Koch, Ray Derri returning making the car count up to twenty one.
This will be a race for the fans to come out and support all the great drivers for 100 laps of Great Late Model racing. The last Late Model race was April 26th was won by Johnny Kay driving the 36 car of Gary Padulla.
Along with the Late models will be the very popular Suncoast Outlaw Street Stock series for fifty laps.
What will Vernon Hart be racing this week after his car was stuffed into the outside wall and totaled last time.
T.Q. Midgets, the exciting Legends series, the growing Mini Stocks, and will Walley Smith bring back more excitement to the Thunder Trucks this week.
And FANS get ready for FAN PARTICIPATION, yes you to can be a racer for a lap or two in the very popular Fan race.
-pits open sat at 9am for open practice
-Front gates open sat at 4pm
-racing starts at 6pm
-there will be open practice Friday night with the pits opening at 4pm
-Pit concession will be open for practice so come hungry
